Sonni Bass, Director

Sonni Bass, the owner and founder of Rouge Makeup Academy brings over thirty years of experience in the beauty industry to her classroom. She has owned and operated her own Salon and Spa for more than 20 years and because of her passion for makeup, she has expanded her goals to include and academy of beauty.

Sonni has always believed through education, and knowledge, you will always become more successful in your life quest.

Because of her strong belief in education, and her talent in making people beautiful, she has created hands-on training courses for all aspects of makeup, from the basics to the advanced. Rouge Academy also has classes available for hair styling, hair coloring, spray tanning, and eyelash extensions.

Sonni has created a team of instructors highly qualified, who have already achieved a high level of success as professionals in the makeup industry.

With education comes confidence and expertise in whatever a persons goals may be. Sonni is committed to giving her students the opportunity to build a career for themselves through her specialized makeup classes is her elite academy.

Liz Eddy

Liz Eddy, is a creative makeup artist with over 20 years of experience in fashion, pageantry, film and print.  The combination of her diverse background, consummate professionalism, and attention to detail, create a unique style which brings out the natural beauty of all of her clients. She thrives on sharing her experience and knowledge with the Rouge academy students. SHe is dedicated to helping create a new generation of make-up artists. Rouge is honored to have Liz as our lead instructor.

Marisol Garcia

Classic, Contemporary and Cutting edge makeup artist Marisol Garcia has been a professional makeup artist for 13 years. Representing major
cosmetic companies, including 10 years with M.A.C. Cosmetics and 1 year with Benefit Cosmetics as a trainer. With many years of professional
experience she brings an array of professionalism, makeup artistry and cutting edge techniques.

She also continuously attends many makeup master classes in the Los Angeles and New York areas. All of these classes help to continue to
develop her skills and to keep current with the latest trends. From how to create the perfect wedding look for each client to advanced makeup
techniques, application for photos, print and HDTV and of course the wide array of looks at fashion week.

She continuously works on many fashion shows, photo shoots, commercials, film, and print. She also continuously attends New York,
Milan and Paris fashion weeks. In her continued travel to Fashion Week, she works along side many of the fashion worlds most sought after
Makeup Artists, designers and models. Some of the artists that she have had the privilege to work with are, Pat McGrath, Charlotte Tilbury, Val
Garland, Kabuki, and Diane Kendall, to name a few. Marisol has also worked with many celebrity clients on music video shoots such as, Lady
Gaga and has worked on many magazine editorial shoots such as , Teen Vogue and Allure.

Traveling all over the county and internationally from San Francisco, Chicago, New York Miami, Milan and Paris , she is able to work with many different types of women and help them with their needs.
